Smithtown CSD Substitute Teacher Job Fair

The Smithtown Central School District has an ongoing need throughout the District for per diem substitute teachers in all curriculum areas. Substitute teachers have the ability to select assignments through the use of the Frontline Absence Management (Aesop) system.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 26, 2022 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• New York State Teacher certification required.
• Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. 

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
• Dual certification preferred.
• Bilingual communication skills preferred.
• Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.

Title: Substitute Teacher Per Diem

Salary: $125 per diem – $225 per diem for long-term assignments

Effective: September 2022
